4 days out from surgery today.  It has been really difficult for me to swallow my pills so I haven't been consistent with them.  I have bipolar disorder as well as anxiety so without my mood stabilizers I am CRABBY.  I woke up feeling like I had a cold and I feel rundown.  Its finally NICE out and I am stuck on the couch instead of out riding my horse and I miss food.  And to top it off, I couldn't visit my husband (he is in rehab) and I miss him so so much.  Grumpy grumpy grumpy!!!

That being said, my family an friends have been keeping me company and taking good care of me, I am healing up well, and this too shall pass! I need to constantly remind myself that my husband and I both need help with our addictions and we are where we need to be right now.  But man I miss his bear hugs and stupid jokes...!

Ok, I am done rambling...

Hang in there!  You are probably going to have a bumpy ride for a little while.  Your hormones are going to be all over the place for a little while.  I really noticed it around the 3-4 week timeframe.

Welcome to the Losers bench!

Vent away!

Awe Alycia, I have to say, I think it's cute how you miss your hubby so much.  Wish I could have said the same ... but acknowledging your addictions & wanting & needing support from one another is nothing short of awesome.  It is hard in the beginning but as the days go by, things will get better, especially when you see the pounds melt off.  Keep your chin up gurl, keep getting that support from friends, family & here ... you will go far!!!

Sorry the beginning sucks so bad, but it does get better and brings much happier days!  If it's so nice out, why not sit out side and get some natural vitamin d?

Hope tomorrow is a better day for you!

You're allowed a grumpy day or two with all of these changes, but they are good changes and you'll start to feel better soon, I'm sure.  Hang in there!
