NIGHTMARE!
I am gluten free. I sometimes dream of eating loaves and loaves of bread or pizza. Crazy huh?
“Not many of us are living at our best. We linger in the lowlands because we are afraid to climb the mountains. The steepness and ruggedness dismay us, and so we stay in the misty valleys and do not learn the mystery of the hills. We do not know what we lose in our self indulgence. What glory awaits us if only we had the courage for the mountain climb. What blessing we should find if only we would move to the uplands of God.? JRM
I've also had some dreams about eating foods that are not allowed - mostly deserts. In the dream I struggle not to eat, and I lose the battle. I wake upset, and am pleased to find it is just a dream. This food addiction is a powerful thing.

I kinda think it's common for us to have these kind of nightmares, especially early out of surgery. A lot of us are afraid of doing something wrong or hurting our teeny sleeve. I remember waking up from a nightmare too. I was watching a movie with my kids at home and I wasnt even thinking but started to eat my kid's popcorn. Then I realized HOLY CRAP!!! I got scared and it woke me up. Yikes! I remember being scared of eating popcorn right after surgery so there ya go!
I agree with what mimi said too. You will be fine though, take care!!!
