So today is 2 months...WOW I can hardly believe it!!
Went by in a flash...how do I feel?? AWESOME!!!
Even with the stalls and frustration over that this has been the best thing I have done for myself and my family in FOREVER!!!
I feel more like ME now, I want to get out and go..I'm no longer hiding, uneasily pulling out my shirt so my big bubba belly is camouflaged...the overwhelming sadness is gone..the high blood pressure is GONE!! The diabetes Meds (all 4 of them) are GONE!!
I feel a lightness more so to do with my heart than body,I'm greatful to a fantastic and skilled surgeon, and I'm overjoyed with the fact that I finally stepped out of my own way, confronted all my irrational fears and went forward and saved my life..
SOME STATS:
First consult weight: 225
Pre-op: 208
Month 1: -23
Month 2: -10
So that's pre-op diet 17 + 23 + 10 for a grand total of 50LBS gone so far!!!
I am now 175 from 225 WOW!! I haven't been this weight since my early 20's!

ANYONE ON THE FENCE ABOUT THIS SURGERY...PLEASE LISTEN TO ME...
I hemmed and hawded about this for 4 yrs, all while slowly dying from the complications my excess weight had given me...
My main concern as is a concern for many of us ..dying on the table and leaving our kids...well guess what I was going to leave them anyway and they'd have the distinct displeasure of watching me slowly die over time, cause it was already starting..I decided, hey I could get in a car wreck and die tomorrow..and this became my mantra to get thru it when my mind would start to get scared and doubtful..."NO ONE IS GUARANTEED TOMORROW" life for today!

From what I understand dumping occurs in people who have had RNY,
not sleeve I haven't had anything fatty or sugary yet so I haven't had it happen to me....
