I think my dietician is nuts!

I wouldn't dismiss her advice without more information.

Early on fruit and yogurt are easier to digest than most veg. Does she tell you when you'll get veggies? Also, is she a registered dietitian or a nutritionist? (RD designation actually means something - nutritionist doesn't necessarily...)

How much experience does she have of working with post Bariatric patients?

I didn't stick with my dietitian's plan.  I felt it was too high in carbs and I didn't like the protein supplements that she recommended. She was fine with my changes and encouraged me to try different things to find what worked for me as long as I stayed around her calorie range and continued my multivitamins.  My point is, everyone is different and should be treated as such.  I encourage you to find what works for you and stick to it....it will probably progress and change the farther along you get.
