OMG! Anxiety has kicked in - BIG TIME!

Just got off the phone with my coordinator.  I've been submitted to insurance (yesterday) - WOOHOO!  I asked her about planning for surgery and pre-op diet, since we have vacation scheduled the end of August and I don't want to be on pre-op or post-op full liquids at that point.  She said (in a very chipper voice), well, you don't need the pre-op diet, so if we get approval back this week you could be looking at surgery next week.  OMG!

Maybe it's better that you won't have as much time to worry about it. Hubby and I got scheduled at the same time, but they wanted to do him first and then mine is 3wks after his. He was sleeved last week, and I am on pre-op diet now. I flip/flop all day long. Sometimes I'm excited and then other times I think I'm crazy for doing this. It's been quite a roller coaster. I have had a lot of surgeries, but this is the longest I have had to wait for the actual surgery and it's killing me! Good Luck and keep us updated!!
