HELP...Protein shake recommendation

Since I got the sleeve I became lactose intolerant. Therefore any type of dairy makes me vomit.

I was recommended to try soy protein and add it to almond milk, which works fine.... But the taste sucks, very bland and after a few sips I start gagging.

I also tried the Proasis protein shot which has 25g of protein but that think also taste like crap...

what do you guys recommend. It doesn't have to be anything amazingly good, just good enough so it goes down without making me gag..

Thanks in advance for all your advise

I do orange creme whey protein powder mized in with unsweetened coconut milk....

this is the brand I most often purchase:

another drink I make is Isopure clear drinks mixed with seltzer and/or crystal lite (with stevia) or real lemon... over crushed ice or frozen in popsicle molds.... or just straight up in a glass... I make sure the seltzer or plain water is a 50-50 mix with the isopure... cuts down the after taste and also cuts it down to 20 grams per serving if protein...

Sorry your having lactose issues.....may people do post WLS.   Try the website KaysNaturals.com.   They sell protein in all forms....they have mixes that you can make small cakes,  snacks, and all kinds of WONDERFUL items that ALL have a pretty decent protein amount in them.   They also have AMAZING protein puddings that you can make.    I know that they save lots of people trying to get in their protein without tons of calories.     Also you may check on some online site for protein teas or fruit drinks that contain protein.     Good luck and I hope this website will help you out.    There are lots of choices out there.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Whey Protein Isolates are lactose free.

About time makes a lot of flavors and can be purchased online at sites such as gnc.com.

About time is all natural with only 4 ingredients

1) Cold Processed Whey Protein Isolate

2) Natural Flavor

3) Xanthan Gum

4) Stevia

Flavors are subtle and you may want to get some sugar free syrups to add or peanut flour or Hershey's Special Dark Unsweetened Cocoa.
