Hey OH friends. Just had my post op 10day nurse check and I'm very excited to report that I can move to purée 4 days early!! It sure is a much needed and wanted change after 3 weeks and 3days on liquids.
I am curious to know what some of your favorite purée items were. Thanks so much for your continued advice and well wishes!!

Your friend, Veronica

My surgeon told me, "if you can puree it, you can eat it." So pretty much ANYTHING that you wouldn't mind eating in mush form is a go. I was starving for some MEAT at that point so I put about an ounce of a PORK CHOP into the "food processor" attachment of my immersion blender and buzzed it to a paste. Funky texture but it tasted SOOO good after sweet liquids for so long.

If that doesn't sound appetizing then theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com has some great VSG suggestions.
