TMI...what is the deal with the smell?!

I am 4 days post op and have been having some on and off diarrhea...the thing is, holy **** (no pun intended) the smell is horrendous! I've lit all the candles in my house...ugh..normal or not? Did something die inside of me?

LOL...this happened to me too that first week. Trust me, it's temporary. At least it was for me.

Ugh, that sucks...

Constipation doesn't always happen...not if you make sure you're drinking plenty of water.  I haven't had this issue, and I don't take a laxative or stool softener.  haven't needed it at all since I go on the regular.

Suggestion. Talk to your doc and make sure it isn't cliff. I've had it and that's one of the tell tale signs. Stool test will clarify

I will ask for sure...doesn't that have something to do with antibiotics or am I thinking of something else?

You can get cdiff from antibiotics, but it can also be passed from patient to patient in a hospital setting.
