Good Morning VSG'ers

In an attempt to get back on track, I'm trying some new things.  OMG, when I say packed with deliciousness - I mean it from the bottom of my heart.  The QuestBar White Chocolate Raspberry is so delicious, I'd rather eat it than a Snickers bar.  I've finally found something I'd rather eat than oatmeal in the morning.  I'll be ordering a box of these.  Welcome, my new morning delight.  I just had to share.

I agree - totally delicious!  But be careful....I started off being able to do Quest bars "occasionally" but eventually they started triggering me.   I would think about them a LOT, I would anticipate eating them and eat half a one even if I already had all my other food and protein in for the day.   And they stalled me out on the weight loss big time.

Now, admittedly, I'm a sugar addict so it was the white chocolate raspberry, the cookie dough and brownie ones that were the problem.   I can let the strawberry cheesecake and cinnamon roll ones sit there forever.

The White Chocolate Raspberry flavor is my fave!!! Like Tracy, I have to be careful with certain flavors being around because they call my name all the time.  But IMO, these are better to grab than most other protein bars.  They really are there for me in case of an emergency but yes, I do love them!

They trigger me big time. I have sworn off them.

So, I take it that it probably wouldn't be a good idea to eat them for breakfast.  blush  I thought I was on to something, oh well!

Well suiteness ... hey, like that profile name??  Sounds like "sweetness" ...  :)

I know it's suitebliss which is even better.  I just thought of that at this very moment & I liked it.

I just wanted to put my 2 cents in ... I know I'm a regainer but this really has nothing to do with my likeness of quest bars.

If they don't trigger you and you can still lose weight with them then I really dont see the harm in eating them once in a while.  Believe me, there are way worst things you can eat.  I personally do try to avoid them at time if I am feeling vulnerable but most of the time, they don't trigger me, they just don't satisfy me for a meal is all.  In fact, it was the opposite for me.  Because I was monitoring my food and tracking during the time I ate them & I was losing.

That's just my personal experience!

They don't trigger me, but I love the, so this worries me.  I only allow myself to have them as my protein after the gym.  I was doing half a bar for a while (with my other 10 grams from something else), but now that I have the new double chocolate chunk, I eat the whole one.
