I work for a small medical group office. We had our Christmas party Friday afternoon. Instead of exchanging gifts with each other, we bring in toys for a local charity organization. We stood in a prayer circle and then we each spoke of what we are grateful for. At the end of that, one of my coworkers walked over to me and presented me with a gift card to a local scrubs/uniform store, that everyone at the office chipped in for. They were proud of me for having the VSG and the weight I have lost so far. I was blown away. I am so grateful for my work family, for their thoughtfulness about knowing what a financial struggle it will be for me to replace clothing as I lose the weight. Life is good! They are some of my many blessings in life.
