Approved!

So I talked to my case manager at the bariatric center and I am approved for surgery! I was able to schedule my endoscopy, surgery, and pre and post op appointments! My date is January 21. I was hoping to have it done over winter break as I work at a high school but that didn't work out. I'm just glad I can do it soon! I feel bad about missing work as soon as school starts but oh well. I'm very nervous that I'm not doing the right thing. I know this will be a good thing but I'm scared of all the changes.

Yay congratulations! ! My date is January 27, but i haven't been approved yet. Still waiting. I too have begun feeling nervous, so I'm going to write myself a few letters to read when i feel discouraged. Maybe when you are feeling really good about it you can do the same!

Congrats on your approval!  My date is Jan 14th and I just started my liquid diet today! 

Congrats on getting your surgery date!!  Please know that we all had the same nervous/scared feelings right before surgery.  You are going to be okay.  See you on the loser's bench in 3 weeks.
