First flu bug since surgery

I've suffered the terrible stomach flu.  It was horrible.  It was the first time being sick since I had the surgery and I was so worried about hurting my stomach somehow (or being in pain from it), but it was no different for me than before surgery.  I'm glad to finally be feeling better and on the mend though.

I'm glad you are feeling better.  I haven't had any stomach ailments since surgery, and i've been concerned if it would be different or problematic.  I'm glad to hear it was "normal."

Feel better!

I'm glad that you're okay now and feeling better. Was the stomach flu caused by something after the surgery or it has nothing to do with it? When did you have the surgery and what surgery did you have?

I'm also thinking about having WLS, but I'm still not 100% sure about it. I try to collect as many information as I can, but the thing I've seen (I mean the complications) are not appealing :(

Once again, I'm glad that you're feeling ok now :) God bless

Hello, I had my surgery in July and hadn't been sick once.  This is the first time and I caught the 24 hour flu from family members who had it (should of just stayed home Superbowl night when we all got together to spread our germs :).  It's good that you are doing you're research.  Most of us here have done years of it--it's best to see the good, the bad and the ugly before you go into any thing.  My husband had the RNY two years ago and has lost 200 pounds.  I opted for the sleeve for myself.  Best wishes for you in your decision.
