One Month Update

VSG on 01/16/14

I am officially 1 month out from my VSG surgery...I can't believe a month has gone by. I am in the pureed stage currently and am doing great with everything I've tried. My fluid intake has been much easier the past week...before I would get around 40 oz not the 64+ that is suggested. I was worried about acid reflux since I've seen so many posts about meds for it on here, but I haven't needed any. I am down a total of 26 pounds since surgery despite a stall for the past 5 days. I had a one week pre-op diet where I lost 13 pounds for a total of 39 pounds lost in 5 weeks!

Wow your doing great! Sounds like your doing good with liquids. It's hard to get it all in when we first start out. Your ahead of me and I'm 8 weeks out. I've had a lot of complications so in some ways I feel like I've just started. Really only been eating and drinking on my own for about a week.
