Sick and I don't want to eat
I've had a cough for several weeks now and it seems to have worsened practically overnight. I have a lot of chest congestion and just feel awful, but no fever. I worked last night, and have to work again tonight and tomorrow night. I'm trying to keep my fluids up so I don't get dehydrated, but I'm really not interested in eating. Yesterday I had a piece of cheese, an ounce of meat, and squeezed in a third syntrax nectar. Lots of broth.
If it's not any better by Monday I'm gonna go to the doctor maybe. I just don't want to get dehydrated.
Blech. What a terrible feeling being sick after surgery. I feel like it hit me like a ton of bricks.
That sucks!! I wouldn't stress eating if it is only going to make you feel worse. I would go to the doctor for sure on Monday if you are not feeling better. Good idea to stay up on your fluids and not get dehydrated! Hang in there.

If we all liked the same things, what fun would life be?
When I had a horrible respiratory flair-up that lasted several days....I didn't feel like eating either. My surgeon had me making sure I reached protein goals by going back to protein shakes/Unjury Chicken Soup and then fill in between with my other fluids.
