I think you're absolutely right about peeling them, I'll definitely do that. Thank you. I'm nervous about trying anything with any kind of crunch. It seems like each new food is a bit intimidating. If only I had always been so thoughtful and cautious about what I ate.....

I kid you not,  during my full liquids phase that lasted over three weeks,  I was craving a salad and drank a teaspoon of dressing.

I have always loved salads so I am bummed I can't eat a nice big one. I have tiny ones on occasion. Usually topped with a bit of diced meat and cheese. It's also a lot easier for me to digest if I cut it really small.

Lol that's so funny because I had a sip of pickle juice because I wanted a pickle so bad! It's so funny how we compensate for what we miss.

I am 3 months out but still not eating salads yet.  I've been told I can eat anything I want now, but I'm scared to try them.  Every new food presents a new challenge and I never know how my tummy will react.  I don't even eat much cooked vegies yet because by the time I get my protein in, I have no more room for anything.  I plan to discuss this with my NUT next week because I've been getting virtually no fiber at all, which I know can't be good for me.
