What are you doing this 4th of July Holiday that you could not do last year?
Honestly? Nothing. We're getting together with friends on Saturday and will be grilling (like real Americans). ;) I will be able to eat in moderation and enjoy myself without needing food, so that is a big change I suppose :D
I did get to walk with my mom a lot earlier in the week and that is a HUGE change from my life a year ago.

Oh my gosh - let me make a list!
1. Wear shorts with complete confidence
2. Wear a sleeveless shirt for the first time in DECADES
3. Play volleyball with the rest of the family without fear of hurting myself or suffering heatstroke
4. Run around after the little kids
5. Gloating (just a little bit) that I am the skinniest women at the family party!!
Glad I'm not the only one who feels like gloating! :)

Love the independence!
For starters riding my bike and being small enough to sit in a lawn chair. I may also run to catch a football, walk from the car to the picnic at the lake w/o stopping to rest, and wearing the same shirt all day because I didn't sweat through it like last year. I'll cook faster and standing tall w/o my back aching and needing a rest. And... :)
