Well I was lucky I got to be off work for 31/2 weeks but Monday I return. I'm scared! I don't have any idea what or how much food to bring for a 9 hr day. I'm worried I'm going to get sore sitting at my desk all day! and I'm worried about being Tired!  Help in any way will be greatly appreciated!

I brought and extra shaker and protein packs in case my lunch didn't sound good, or I forgot it in the warm car, or I forgot it at home - not really that forgetful but early out it's hard to find a substitute and I didn't want to go all day w/o protein/energy - I was tired enough.

hi Kristin,

I always bring a protein drink and a liter of water to work with me along with some other protein-based item like string cheese, greek yogurt, or a foil packet of tuna. As I got farther out from surgery I began to keep a few things like nuts and protein bars at my desk but to be honest that was a bit of a slippery slope because I am prone to grazing and stress eating. Currently I have decided the protein bars are not a good choice in my daily life though helpful in some situations like traveling.

good luck as you head back to work, Katy

consult weight 241 (had not been accurately weighed for over 10 years, my medical records just said "wheelchair") high weight was probably closer to 260.
