Trigger Foods
Talk to me about trigger foods! What are yours? What foods cause you problems because you can't eat "just one?" Or what foods cause your cravings to flare all over the place? What foods call your name if you have them in your house?
Are there foods that trigger you when other people eat them in your presence?

I'm at the tail end of my two week liquid diet, so I haven't exactly hit this yet, EXCEPT for last night when I was watching the prison documentary "Lockup" and it showed the inmates creating a burrito. I about lost my mind, over A. Prison. Burrito. All I could think of was how good a burrito would be, and how amazing it looked. I had to turn it off and go to bed. I think I need to make an effort to avoid all Chipotles in the future...

Hmm.. please let me know if this is weird but I am 6 weeks out and I do not have cravings. I was told by my doctor (I had the sleeve) that I would probably not have cravings because they were removing the fundus gland... I used to crave carbs but right now... NOTHING. Does this change over time? Those who have had the sleeve.... is your experience the same?
Mental cravings will return. For most of us food is a mental game and cravings for the most part are mental. So while you may not feel hunger like you used to you will crave foods. In the beginning it is very easy (in my personal opinion) but after about 6 months is when I noticed the cravings start to return. Just stay diligent and be strong.
The fundus isn't a gland. The fundus is the stretchy part of your stomach that was removed. It has nothing to do with cravings.
