Which protein shake
I think the carbs are really high in your shake. My NUT said for me to look for shakes between 0 and 5 in carbs. She also told me tjat whey is a form of lactose (if I remember correctly).

I use choc peanut butter by body fortress, it has whey protein & I buy it online from walmart, but they only have tub sizes, 1 scoop has 30 grams of protein, 150 calories & 7 carbs. I also use syntrax matrix pb cookie, it has whey protein, 150 calories, 6 carbs, 23 grams of protein per scoop, my bariatric pantry sells them in smaller sizes, along with the nectar to go protein packs, fuzzy navel real good, the pantry selection fruit drinks in cran grape & wild berry good too, 70 calories & 15 grams of protein, also whey protein used.
No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another.

You are the second person to mention the Syntrax Matrix PB Cookie powder. I just bought the Perfect Chocolate and Simply Vanilla. I am going to have to pick up some of the PB flavor. Sounds YUMMY,

I buy Premier Protein from Sam's Club which is 30 grams and 160 calories. Also use PB2 ( dried peanut butter) available at any grocery store to add flavor and protein. I eat Premier Pro. bars which are 20 grams and really good but only can eat 1/2 at a time. I use Isopure powder ( cookies and cream) which is 0 carbs, 50 grams protein /200 calories or 2 scoops . Cheaper on line than than GNC or the Vitamin Shop. Can't beat Isopure!
