Back pain/ soreness/ can't keep vitamins down!

I am 5 weeks out and have had pain in the middle of my back. I and had two massages, and been to the chiropractor twice ! The pain only happens when I stand or sit for too long. Also my stomach is still tender? Every now and then I have sharp pains in one area? Am I still healing? Also I need help with ideas on how to not throw up my vitamins!! Grrrrrrrr 

Any answers ?

Have you spoken with your surgeon? ?? Also I had pains on and off for many many weeks ... not excruciating But pain none the less. .. is that one area right by the big incision ..that's where mine was... Also vits... what about gummy Vits have you tried them..... best of luck to you !!!:-)

I'd suggest talking to the surgeon about the pain.  that's not good. 

I couldn't stomach my vitamins at first, either.  My NUT suggested crushing them and mixing them into some plain Greek yogurt.  I enjoy the sweet, creamy treat every morning and evening, so I am still doing it, even though I don't need to anymore.

Call your surgeon.  Right now.  Back pain is a symptom of lots and lots of different things, and your surgeon is the best person to ask - not us!  

As for vitamins - are you taking them with food?
