Protein Ice Cream! OMG.......

I have been looking at some of Eggface's recipes for a while now. I've read all about her ice cream creations. It was really hot here the last few days and I really wanted ice cream. I made a batch out of a vanilla protein shake in the blender and froze it. If was great. So great I went out and bought an ice cream machine! I made chocolate peanut butter ice cream today! I'm still on liquids and in heaven! I can't believe how good it is. I would recommend this to anyone.  Can't wait to make another batch!

I just used my favorite chocolate protein rtd shake, 1/2 scoop of chocolate protein powder, a tsp of sf Vanilla syrup, a tbsp of PB2. Blended it and poured into my ice cream machine. I can't wait until I can eat fruit. I think a strawberry protein shake with real strawberries will be great. Good luck!

I've used that recipe and made chocolate, chocolate- mocha, peach, mango and black cherry.  ALL delicious!

 I use the Torani SF syrups and use vanilla Unjury with the fruit flavors.  Tried Syntrax Nectars - nasty!  Much too foamy and doesn't mix well.  The protein powder you use WILL make a difference.

Aww Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I've been making it here too... we hit triple digits a couple of times last week. I made chocolate with powdered peanut butter.
