Cucumbers?
It's been almost 2 weeks sense vsg. I was told to move to mushies last week. I can also have cheese and shaved meat. I had a small cucumber in the fridge. I had 4 slices of cucumbers and 2oz of oven roasted chicken. I feel fine. I chewed and chewed. I put sent a picture to one of my friends who also had vsg and she freaked out! Said I never should have eaten cucumbers or any vegetables for weeks. Is that true? I know its protein first but they were 4 THIN slices. It was cold, juicy and crunchy and tasted great with my chicken Was I wrong?
Every program has different rules. Follow what your program says. I couldn't have raw veggies until 3 months post-op with the exception of lettuce and tomatoes which were allowed sooner. I'm glad you are feeling ok. It'll probably be fine if it doesn't cause you any pain.
best wishes,
Carol

Cucumbers were on my don't even think about it until 6 months out list. I was able to start some raw veggies (a specific list) at 3 months out, but others I had to wait until 6 months out.
