gaining
I'm 6 weeks out and I have had a few days where I gained a little weight. For me, it is around that time of the month because I always retain water. Also, I have found that I lose less weight if I don't drink as much water or if I don't get enough protein. It seems strange to me, but that has been the trend. Don't beat yourself up, if you think about it, 22 lbs in 3 weeks is pretty amazing. I lost 27 in 4 weeks, so we are pretty similar.
Good luck!
Are you weighing yourself daily or weekly?
What, exactly, are you eating each day?

I just got past my 3 week stall. I too had great success until week 3. I lost first two weeks and then stalled and gained several pounds. Thank goodness for all of the posts about the 3 week stall. Mine lasted 10 days where I yo-yoed up and down the same 3 pounds. Retaining water will cause you to go up. Don't get discouraged! Stick with your plan and make sure you are getting plenty of fluids and protein. I tried the calorie confusion and that seemed to work. The first 3 weeks I maintained roughly the same calorie, carb, and protein amounts. When I gained a bit and stalled I actually decided to try eating more calories and added some extra fat (not extra carbs) That seemed to do the trick. On my 1 month surgery anniversary the scale started moving again.
Track everything you eat so that when you stall you can tweak things to see what works. Myfitnesspal is great because it will track the protein, fat and carbs for you.
It's soooo exciting to see those losses (and you are doing great, by the way) and then it's a real let down when the scale goes the other way. Just know that your weight will ALWAYS fluctuate, even while you are losing. It could be due to many factors, Time of Month, Sodium intake, water retention, a new medication...etc. Just keep your protien and water high and your calories low throughout the losing phase and you'll make it. (((Hugs))) for your frustrations and Kudos for your stellar losses so far. Keep the faith!
