Hey guys, I was just wondering what's your go to snack. Its very hard watching everyone eat chips and cookies and candy and junk. Sometimes I crave a snack. Anyone have any they wanna share.

My favorite snack is string cheese.  It's filling and I like to tear it apart piece by piece so it lasts me a long time :-)

My plan is three meals a day with no snacks, so I really try not to snack at all.  That said, I love SF popsicles and have 2-3 a week, especially when it's hotter outside.  In my purse/bag I tend to carry a pouch of tuna, some pouches of nut butter (almond and peanut), and then some crunchy bean things.  I particularly like the onion and chive variety of "crunchamame."  "Crunchy Bean Snack" is also tasty.  I get all of these things except the tuna from Amazon.  I find that, often, just knowing that I've got these things in my bag makes me feel comfortable and I rarely indulge.  But, once in a while, I actually need to eat something since my head starts feeling a bit wobbly.  So they're good to have around!

For snacks at home, when I have access to my fridge, I just have whatever proteiny leftover there is in the fridge.  But, again, I try very hard not to snack.

if I am hungry and in between meals I'll have a piece of beef jerky. Nice protein boost, too!

My plan calls for snacks and it has taken a while to find what works.  I have Babybel cheese, beef jerky, or almonds usually as a snack. It varies though.

I am a week post op I don't think that I can have a snack like jerky but I am hungry what can I eat. I am also on the purred stage now which I so much better than cream soups.

For on the go snacks, that don't require refrigeration, I like The Good Bean smoky chili and lime crunchy chickpeas. I also love Kay's naturals protein items from amazon. They have a jalapeño honey mustard stick and a Parmesan chip that are great. A small bag is crunchy and satisfying and has 120 calories with 15 g carbs and 12 G protein. They're perfect for flights or times that everyone is eating munchy food and a slice of turkey just isn't feasible or won't cut it :)
