Hi. I just had my vsg 9 days ago. If you're up and about well and doing your walking, then you shouldn't need it after the hospital.

I quit using it when I felt I could take deep breaths without it feeling uncomfortable, and it was easy to do. I struggled at first, but I kept it up several times per day until it got easier, maybe 5 days or so. Hope this helps!

they didn't send me home with it.  So nothing since the day after surgery.
