VSG on 08/19/14

Hey guys,

I have had really bad nausea the last 3 days. Even something so simple as drinking water is horrible. I thought I would just let it play out but it hasn't stopped. I'm seven weeks out and never experienced this. Has anyone had this?

call your surgeon he will be able to give you an anti emetic to stop your nausea, it is a common problem

Nausea can be from dehydration, especially if you're having issues drinking. Try different liquids and different temperatures. Lots of people find crystal light easier to drink than water this early out and it's often easier to drink warm, hot, or luke warm things than cold drinks.

it could also be acid reflux. Are you taking a PPI like Nexium? If not check with your surgeon toget a scrip.

Hi.. can you please advise me how did you handle your nausea? I am currently struggling with severe attack of daily nausea and need help.
