First NSV!

So I have this habit of shaking my hands vigorously when I wash them to shake off the excess water before drying them. My wedding ring has always been pretty tight even though it's a size 9 so I never worried about it coming off with the shaking. I have noticed it being looser and looser lately. Today I shook as usual and FLING! Off my ring came and flew across the bathroom. I had to search for it and found it behind the toilet! Gonna have to get some sort of ring adjuster to make it more snug until I reach a stable weight and get a new one. It's Tungsten so I can't just get it resized :(

What a coincidence! I just went to the jewelers today b/c I almost lost my wedding ring in the ladies room at work when it came right off drying my hands and I almost threw it in the garbage with the paper towel. I've been married 40 years (yay! wonderful supportive husband) and had it resized bigger when I gained so much weight. Now I have to get it smaller- back to when we got married. I'm still about 10 lbs away from fitting into my wedding gown, but the ring feels like an NSV to me, too.This is a fun NSV. Congratulaitons.

That is awesome! Your post made me go try on my wedding ring that has been sitting in my drawer for years because it was too small and guess what? It fits now!

And I was able to wear my favorite boots again this week. Last year I couldn't zip them and didn't wear them.
