Nystatin swish/swallow

I was give nystatin as a prophylactic before and after surgery. I tried to take it this morning and gagged it up before I could swallow it. I have a real issue with liquid medication, it's involuntary. I don't know what to do. I sure don't want thrush, but I don't see me keeping this in my mouth and getting it swallowed. HELP!

Maybe try smaller swallows? If that doesn't work, contact your pharmacist and see if he/she has any suggestions?

I emailed NP , WE'll see what she says. For now I may just swab inside off mouth, I dint know what to do about swallowing. If I end up with thru****hink this is the treatment also, I'll be in trouble then.
