Normal BMI for Christmas!
I weighed myself today and the scale said 153.3! That's a BMI of 24.7 for 5 ft 6 inches! Yee haw! I have not EVER been able to say that in my life until now.
Best Christmas gift I've ever given myself!
I did allow for some enjoyment of holiday foods but did not go crazy. I'd definitely say the sleeve helped that a lot!
I'm looking forward to understanding how maintenance works now. That's definitely the challenge!
Happy New Year everyone!
Thank you! If I can do it, anyone can. I haven't done anything special - just following the rules that my surgeon's office gave me and paying attention to what people suggest on here. I worried that I was not going to have the success I hoped for, so I'm so relieved and happy that things have gone so well!
That's awesome!! Normal in less than a year post-op. You should be super proud of yourself!
