Surgery Buddies- January 2015!

Only a few more days!!! How exciting

Hi Yaara, I'm Bev in Pleasant Prairie, WI. My surgery is scheduled for Jan 5th and today was the first day of my pre-op diet. I'm small in stature I am 4' 11" and a BMI of 42 with no co-morbidities but, I do have a back issue which really impacts the way I exercise (that really scares me) I am 55 years old. I'm currently working on a "breakup" with the love of my life (Food) but I'll get through.  

Looking forward to a new start in life.

Awesome, congrats!! Hopefully for us being short gals, we'll start seeing differences a little quicker since there's less space for fat to hide on us lol

Absolutely, make sure you do it New Orleans style! Walking through the streets dancing with a band at your back playing victory music!!!

Are you all planning on taking before shots, and measurements?

I'm definitely taking measurements, but I'm so hesitant to take a before shot, I've been avoiding the camera the past couple years :( I know it's necessary to really appreciate my progress as time goes on, and will take one, but gosh I sure don't want to!
