Sooo surgery day is finally here!!! I am kind of a mixed bag of emotions.      (Hehe) Mostly excited and anxious! Surgery is at 10:30 a.m. and I'm not quite sure what to expect. (I haven't had surgery since I was a kid.) Either way I feel lucky to be able to have this procedure and I will be grateful for the rest of my life. Thank you everyone for your continued support and information. I hope to be active on this site in the future. Maybe later on I can help someone. Anyways I am rambling.

Congratulations!! It will go great I am sure. I just had mine on the 17th. It went better then I ever could have imagined. Wasn't in much pain and they even had a volunteer who had , had the same surgery come around the next morning to talk to and encourage you.

Wishing you luck and prayers.....and room on the losers bench!

Not the funnest way I can think of to ring in the New Year, but you'll be absolutely FINE.  Just wait until NEXT New Year's Eve - you'll have an awesome reason to celebrate.  Best of luck to you, and a speedy recovery!

I feel a bit nauseous, sore and sleepy. Otherwise I am doing well. I have yet to regret doing the surgery. I feel blessed to have had it and people who are so comforting and supportive. Really, I mean it. Thank you everyone.
