My daughter has really been wanting this, so I decided it would be a good thing for her to have. I notice portions are small, and it's based in sound nutrition. I am only  a couple of months from VSG, and would love inout. Would this help prepare me for the drastic change in portions as opposed to now?

I saw the first video & it looks like a nice exercise dvd, the 2nd video I only watched part of b4 I turned it off. The food portion of the dvd is not for people who've had wls, a sleeved stomach really won't be able to eat all that & it's not protein forward. I'd stick with weighing & tracking food, b4 the whole tupperware thing. I'm less than a year out, but the tupperware thing seems gimmicky to me.

My plan also doesn't have me counting carbs, cals, but I do track them & use it more as a guideline, so I can make adjustments as I go down. My plan is 80g of protein, followed by carbs from veggies first, then fruit. Everyones plan is different, if you want to practice something, try getting in the habit of not drinking with your meals, for me that was a hard habit to break.

Just remember in the beginning you won't feel the restriction because your nerves would be cut, so you have to follow your Drs plan for you, after you heal up you'll start to really feel that restriction kick in & even later when your sleeve matures & you're able to have more food, your sleeve won't stretch to the size of your original stomach. Good luck on your upcoming surgery, will save a spot on the losers bench for ya!

At almost 7 years out, a lot of the meals are too much! I love the program though and variety!
