Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? -- Monday

It's Monday and this is the last chemo week I'll be able to go to PA for.  I'm sad that I'll miss the last two chemo weeks with my dad, but I'm also glad I'll finally be able to get something like a normal schedule back in my life.  

1: frankenshake
2: leftover cobb salad topping
3: whatever my mom makes (normally grilled fish and a veg)

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: 60 minutes physical therapy, 30 minutes yoga (back pain stuff before I drive)

Back to work after a nice almost 2 weeks off -and some poor eating (thankfully the scale has been kind)

B:  steelcut oats

S:  almond biscotti

L:  Thomas light english with cottage cheese, sprinkle of cinnamon and thin slice of cheddar

D:  Chicken, veg

S:  watermelon

E:  going to walk at lunch despite the 70 degree dew point

I did have problems pre weight loss, but once I lost weight the cramping in my lower legs got worse.

19 Days out from surgery, on purees for the time being. I'm supposed to eat 4-5 2oz meals a day.

Meal 1: Premier Protein vanilla shake

Meal 2: 2oz blended egg salad

Meal 3: 2oz fat-free cottage cheese

Meal 4: 2oz blended egg salad (hopefully I'll get to it before "dinner")

Meal 5: Not sure, probably more egg salad or maybe some soup.

Liquids: I'm sure I'm running behind. I'm having trouble scheduling everything. Between 4-5 meals a day, it's hard to follow the 'No drinking 30 mins before/after' rule. I've had about 9oz of diet iced tea, plus the 11oz of protein shake this morning. I don't feel dehydrated, which is good, but I know I need to get more liquids in.

Vitamins: I've been slacking a bit because I wanted to make sure my stomach could handle gummy vitamins this far out. I need to start picking up the slack.

Exercise: less than 4 weeks out, so I can't do anything.

I wasn't a good eater this weekend, so I'm trying to do better today.  I go back to school tomorrow and with a normal schedule I think eating will be easier.  Except for the one hour each way drive...that is going to be tough.  I really have a hard time not eating while I drive.  I think I'll have to go back to doing a shake for breakfast that I can drink while I drive and perhaps eat lunch on the way home (I only teach from 8-noon).

L: it is 2 and I haven't had a chance to go get something for lunch yet.  Hopefully soon.

D: Taco Tuesday on Monday... so the taco fixings minus the tortilla.  I will have some tortilla chips though since I made salsa yesterday with produce from my garden.

Liquid and vitamins: on track

Exercise: nothing today.  I'm hoping later this week once I get back in the swing of things I'll be able to get up at 4:30 again and exercise before school.

I ate off plan this weekend since I went to my brothers for the weekend so back on track today.

B:  Egg white ham and cheese omelet

S:  String cheese

L:  Cottage cheese, deli turkey meat, and tomato

S:  Greek yogurt

D:  Ocean Perch, green beans and cucumber

S:  Beef Jerky

W:  144 oz so far as of 4:45 pm

V:  on track

E:  I dont know if Im going to get my walk in yet today.  It looks like rain.
