So I had it out today at 11:00 am and was home by 6:00 pm. Sore but glad its over. I had read so much in the previous year about it being a possibility and glad its out and happy its not hanging over my head. Thanks for all of the support last week when I wrote about the diagnosis.

You will be so glad it's gone! I had mine out about 18 months prior to vsg and I could not have been any more pleased by the result!

I feel more sore than I did after my VSG. Odd, maybe the scare tissue fro the previous operation has something to do with it.

Just had mine out a couple months ago. You will feel better with it gone. Good luck on recovery.

Glad everything went well for you. Hope the soreness goes away quickly.

I know what you mean about the probability of gall bladder surgery hanging over you. I have a feeling mine is going to konk out while I'm in Nicaragua this winter. I've already written out a Spanish translation for "I need gall bladder surgery now" for the doctors there, just in case. I'll also be checking out the local hospitals and looking for any English-speaking doctors as soon as I get there. Ay caramba!
