Hi All,

Its a sunny day in New England, and I'm planning  to walk today.  I took a few days off the plan last weekend, but I need to get back to the diet.  I'd still like to lose a few pounds to get back to goal weight.  I'm going to have to make a concerted effort because I've been less-than-successful with this for the past few months.

Breakfast - crustless mushroom quiche

Lunch - chicken in spicy peanut sauce

Dinner - phily cheese steak sloppy joes

vitamins - good

water - good

exercise - walking

How about you?  What cha eating?

Carol

It's so hard to go back to eating that little after you have been in maintenance.  I too am struggling with a few pounds of regain - 4 as of today.  However, on a happier note, I just spent 9 days in Europe and came back about 1 lb less than when I went there - and did not deprive myself at all over there.  Of course, they eat normal size portions and alot of fresh fruit and vegetables and I walked at least 18,000 or more steps a day.

B:  1/2 bagel, cored out, toasted with peanut butter

S:  banana

L:  skinny turkey sandwich from potbelly (probably 1/2)

Boy, I agree it is hard to go back to the diet after being in maintenance.

You did great traveling to Europe for 9 days without weight gain!  I'm impressed.  I also have about 4 pounds to lose.  I'm hoping I can get it done, as I'm afraid my weight will slowly drift up.

Keep up the good work!

I am 3 weeks out today..And I am in a stall ugh...here is what I am eating

Breakfast- Decaf coffee with protein powder

Snack- Cheese stick and 1/2 Greek yogurt

Lunch- 2 oz baked chicken, 1 tbsp mashed potato rest of yogurt

Snack-protein shake

dinner- 2 oz baked chicken

snack- sugar free Popsicle

I cannot figure out why I am in a stall!  I eat so little and always get my vitamins, protein and water in.  It is very frustrating because I am doing everything right :(

Hi, are you able or have you increased your physical activity?  Your meals sound great.

I walk everyday.  My surgeon said to focus on healing.  He thought I could try bike riding in another week or so.  How long before you did more vigorous exercise?

It has been over a week with no loss.

You are doing just fine. Stalls happen. Our bodies need time to adjust when we are in rapid weight loss. Just hang in there. if you are eating less calories than your body needs, then you are burning fat, even when it doesn't show on the scale. best wishes, Carol

Hi All

Momofthreeinwis, Don't feel bad on the stall.  I am two days after you and I am dealing with the same stall!  I have been up and down, the same two pounds since the Friday after surgery!  Frustrating! I am not allowed food yet except Greek yogurt.  Everything must still be a liquid diet.  I don't start pureed foods until Month 2.  My Doc was upset with me only getting 400 calories a day, so I have finally gotten them up to 650-700 a day.  I go back to see him next Wednesday, so we shall see.

M1: Proti-VLC Shake: Strawberry

M2: Proti-VLC Shake: Chocolate

M3: Proti-VLC Shake: Pina Colada

M4: Nutri-Fast Soup: Cream of Chicken

M5: Greek Yogurt

V: 2/3 done, working on Calcium

W: Good

E: Walking
