Hey Guys!!

I'm Briana, I've been doing a lot of research and decided I wanted to get the VSG. I'm 5'6 326 lbs and I believe my BMI is 52.6. I live in the Bay Area. Has anyone with this Insurance got approved for surgery and if so how was the process and where did you go?

   Thanks in advance!!!!

Every insurance plan is different. Even if someone has the same provider as you, it can vary on the specific plan you have.

Your best bet is to find a copy of your benefit book (check HR or look online) and/or call the customer service number on the back of your card to get specifics on coverage and requirements.

If covered, you will then find out who accepts the insurance. I believe Dr. Cirangle is out of the bay area and would be worth checking out.
