One year anniversary

VSG on 10/11/16

I do not come here often anymore, but today is a big day for me. It is the one year anniversary for my sleeve surgery. To quote my surgeon at my appointment a few days ago, I am doing exceptionally well. I am down 195 lbs from my starting weight. I am 16 lbs past my stretch goal. He said, "People who have enjoyed the success you have rarely go back".

I have not posted here for many months for reasons I will not go into. Most of those "reasons" have been blocked. At any rate, I have been very successful, and on several levels. This is what 285 lbs and a BMI of 38+ looks like at my house these days.

I eat lots of protein, I exercise lots, and I am losing weight at a prodigious amount because of it all.
