I had to change the date twice because I thought it was the 3rd and then the 4th! Apparently, I'm way behind. I have, what should be, the last lecture of the semester today (she has Thursday marked as a catch-up day if we need it). Because I'm not taking a class next semester due to having surgery, it will be quite awhile before I take a class again! It's warm and windy here this morning. Downstate they are calling for 2' of snow tomorrow! Luckily it's lake effect from Lake Ontario and we generally don't get hit by those systems.

QOTD: Looking ahead, what's a goal you have for yourself in 2018? I have so many fitness and running goals but it's hard for me to think of them knowing that I will have to take several weeks off after my surgery. On a smaller, more vain front, I'd like to wear a two-piece bathing suit for the first time in my life.

Good morning everyone! Today is an errands day. Mom and I will hit all the places I can't ever get my husband to go. Then lunch out. A girls day for sure!

QOTD: My goal for 2018 is to be in clothes that do not have #X in the size. I found out yesterday that I am no longer a 6X. I kinda knew it, but it was validated when I got a couple of dresses that I'd bought from Woman Within that were on clearance ($19 ea!). I ordered them in 4X.... They are TOO BIG! OMGosh! I have not been a 3X since... well... I have no clue... a long long time!!!! So my goal is to be in clothes that are under 1X by the end of the year.

ANOTHER NSV FOR ME TODAY! Woot woot!!!

M1: eggbeaters, smoked turkey and cheddar cheese

M2: TBD

M3: Left over chicken bella and veggies

M4: Left over chicken quesadilla on a ¼ of a whole wheat tortilla

M5: Left over shrimp and stir fry vegs

S: Jerky or a protein snack... depends on what of the above gets eaten

E: Getting the wheelchair in and out of the car (my husband usually does this part). I should hit 1000 steps today.

Good morning! Still good weather here in Florida and we are having friends over for dinner tonight.

QOTD: I guess 2 goals would be to build some sort of consistent exercise routine into my life and to keep DH stable as much as possible (which means having a consistent schedule for him).

1 year, 8 months post-op, maintenance:

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese, and Canadian bacon

L: Turkey salad and cucumber

D: Steak and salad

S: yogurt or protein bar, nut thins and hummus

Good morning. We are having crazy weather here- supposed to be warm today and then a cold front and maybe snow this weekend. Life in New England.

QOTD: i have not set any goals for 2018 - and this post made me think about that. Maybe to cut out the junk food and get back to eating well all day and not just at meals. Bad habits have crept in and I want to nip it in the bud before the few pounds i need to get off become more.

B: cottage cheese

L: salad with cheese

D: shrimp or chicken with veg

S: last night i had some Halo - it's okay, def not ice cream, but a much smarter option if you need something sweet
