I still could switch. What issues?

I just posted in this forum which explains it in detail. Read it and then maybe you can get an idea of where I stand. I had been having struggles eating and drinking enough and my regular provider was brushing me off and others were just being plain horrible. Each surgery has its own set of benefits and risks, being separate procedures.

I will be honest - I did have it for the first 6 months or so, but they have prescription medicine that took mine away completely. Three years out and I never have it. Trust me it is a very small price to pay for getting a new body and a new life. Have faith and remember the good way outweighs the bad! Good luck.

Definitely talk to your doctor about this, but it's my understanding that occasional nighttime acid reflux (a few times a year) is normal, and not a reason to choose RNY over VSG. This may be why your doctor isn't concerned.
