I lived on humus, soft scrambled eggs and Greek yogurt. Couple that with my protein shakes and other supplements, and I hit my daily targets.

I never had a pureed food stage, but I found that the first foods that worked best for me were soups, mostly pea and lentil.

PP linked the Eggface blog. She has great ideas on there. I lived on her baked ricotta in the early stages. and egg drop soup was another fav.

I'd avoid carb heavy things like potatoes and bananas. Focus on as much protein as possible.

I heard of the ricotta bake being really good. Also seen refried beans with a small amt of cheese melted on top. Mashed avocado. Pureed chicken salad, and tuna salad. Pinterest has a few good ideas! Good luck!

I found that the stage 3 baby food with bits is pretty good alternative. If you add some sea salt it's even better. I am right at 4 months out, had my surgery 05/30/2018. I'm still eating the baby food. I keep trying to add more solid foods to my meals but can't handle the pain from it.
