Just bought Biotin- 5000 mcg. at GNC... is this too high a dosage? Help with info or...

Biotin won't stop your hair from falling out, it doesn't work. Take it back for a refund. Your hair will fall out until you're about 9-10 months out no matter what you do, and folks have tried just about under the sun. It's a small price to pay I think. Pumping yourself full of snake oil will just separate you from your money and could hurt you in other ways. Don't do it!

i had my surgery in dec 08 i started taking 5000 biotin aprox 4 mos ago & am still loosing hair HELP am i taking it wrong?? is there something better?? i take it in the am with my other vitamins & wondering if im doing something wrong i had the ds. any advice would be greatly appreciated i dont want to go all the way bald, thinking about getting a wig.
