Isn't it amazing how your whole personality can change sometimes after losing weight?

This has been a great week for me!! Bought my first pair of jeans in 20 years, and they were Size 12!! I literally sat down in the dressing room and cried. It was overwhelming. I haven't been a size 12 since 8th grade!

Also, bought my first new car in 14 years last weekend. The best part is I had no fear of sitting in the driver's seat, or worrying that a small car would look ridiculous as I did when I was 360 pounds. It's a small car (2018 Chevy Sonic), but it feels big to me lol!! It's a great feeling.

Awe that is a great NSV. No one gets it unless they have had weight issues.

I'm one of the rare people that had serious complication from my rny. Spent 4 1/2 months in a hospital, a month in a rehab faciluty that work on breathing issues(I had a trach in my throat), and finally went to a nursing home where they told me I would need long term nursing home. My goal was to get my health back and be able to go into Victoria's Secrets and buy bras. Well, after 4 months, I was able to walk and breath on my own power. I then to VS and was able to buy whatever I wanted.

Good on you for all the effort you put in to achieve your dream.
