greyhounds help save them

i adopted a greyhound about 9 months ago she is so sweet it's unbelievable, she's part of our family. i have a 2 yr old grandaughter who goes in her cage and lays her head on her and loves her she s so humble. i would incourage anyone who loves animls to save a life .adopt a greyhound.she ran races from 1999 to 2003 now she's being loved and cared for. brenda

brenda, I know this is an old post, but I just found it! I have two rescued retired greyhounds. We had another but he passed away 11/02. They are wonderful pets! I especially like that mine don't bark. (rarely anyway...and only if it's REALLY important) Good luck with your greyt dog! Be careful though...they are like potato chips, most folks find they can't just have one!
