I was just wondering when did you hit the 50 pounds lost  & 100 pound lost mark post surgery weight?  I know everyone loses at different rates I was just trying to see kind of what the average was.

Thanks Jaq

Thank You for the info..I like knowing how others are doing so I see if I'm losing in the normal category and it helps me not to become discouraged when you only lose 2 or 3 pounds in a week.

I lost 18 in pre-op dieting right before surgery in march, then another 50 gone by 12 weeks after surgery.

At 3.5 months post op I am down 64 since surgery (82 total this year).

It comes off FAST in the beginning!

I had my VSG on 3/13 and I've just today reached the -50 mark.  (I did, however, lose 25 pounds prior to surgery this year, so I'm down 75 pounds total.)

On December 17th I weighed 332. Had surgery on February 24th and was down exactly 50 pounds from doing pre op diet for 2 months. At 4 months post op I am down an additional 68 for a total of 118lbs. It definitely had been a journey of learning and growth (just not for my butt).

Good luck in your journey Jaq!
