SpyWare and Trojans, be GONE!
Hello friends - no replies needed, just sharing some INFO! 
I just wanted to thank ALL of you who helped me with my computer problems yesterday. The TROJANS are now OFF my computer and so are all the stupid dumb flippin' Adware and Spyware programs.
Talk about a wonderful group of knowledgeable people coming together to help a desperate chicklet - I'm happy to say that I did NOT resort to drop kicking the lap top out the door.
For those of you (like me) that have never heard of it before?
www.TrendMicro.com absolutely RULES!!!!!!!
Also, Microsoft's Beta Spyware - another awesome (and free) program.
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
They both have a FREE spyware program that you can d/l for 30 days. I was absolutely AMAZED at all the things it caught AFTER other programs had been run repeatedly and missed.
If you aren't sure about your computer - take the time to d/l TrendMicro.com, it's worth the time to scan. My husband did NOT think he had any problems with his laptop and ran it just for ...well, just for laughs. His lap top was LOADED (I mean really loaded) with all kinds of adware, spyware and 2 Trojans. They're all now deleted and cleaned out too.

Also, if you want to PREVENT and/or LOCK OUT these flippin' VIRUS's from your computer in the future? ... read the post from EVIE (to my Mainboard thread). She walks you through each step to help set up the operating system to ONLY allow the "windows" program to start up. LOL, of course I have NOT explained that in the "correct techie terms" so you'll have to read HER post to get the true meaning of what she meant.
The best part about this nightmare? I did NOT have to reinstall, restore or lose anything on the harddrive.

Pssst... for those that asked or were curious? This nightmare STARTED because of music files I downloaded off of www.limewire.com . Not sure which song was the actual culprit, but it sure wasn't worth 3 days of pulling my hair out. Ive since updated my FIREWALLS and VIRUS programs - lol, but Im not brave enough to venture to the music site again.
