evening eating

I do very well thru out the day but when I get home from work my eating is horrendous

 

Any suggestions on how to get my mind under control

My biggest problem is night-time eating, too. Especially right before bed.  I don't understand what happens, I can resist temptation all day, eat healthy.  Then I get ready for bed and my need to eat kicks in and all reasoning flies right out the window!  I need help.

I have no suggestions, but I understand where you're coming from.

What are your evenings like ? Are you home alone? Bored? Unhappy? Anxious?  Maybe try getting out if the house - go for a walk. Have a friend over for coffee. This is common and we all have to learn to distract ourselves from food. It's finding the reason we are eating and learning how to satisfy that emotion in a positive , non caloric manner.

I try never eat after supper . I am same way even after 12 years. Right before bed I am hungry. I found something that works for me. Walmart has little cups of sugar free jello. Fills my craving without blowing my whole day.
