Send me an Angel

Oh Lord send me an Angel

To help get me through this pain

I really can’t deal with it

I can’t go through it again !

It seems to never go away

It’s there all the time

How I wish for “A pain free day”

Just once more in this life of mine !

Then I could go out dancing

Maybe shopping all day too

And be the person I once was

Just for a day or two ! 

I know it may never happen

But an Angel sure would be nice

She could really help me

Maybe give me some advice !

So I can make it through

One more day again

With someone to lean on

A true divine friend !
