New To This Board
Hey ya'll!
I had my surgery in July of 2004 and have lost 92 lbs, I still want to lose 35 more, but now that I've decided to take the firemen's test here in Bartlesville, that may put a damper on the weight loss, since, according to my 18-year-old son, I need to put on some muscle to be able to pass the physical agility test.
My son, Trav, is going to begin working out with me today after work. He promises to introduce me to a whole new world of pain.
As if passing the test isn't enough of an obstacle on it's own, I am also 40 years old, and will be 41 by the time I take the test in the late fall.
I have 3 cousins who are currently firemen in other cities, my dad and 2 uncles are retired firemen, so I will have lots of support on this.
Nothing like setting a high goal, huh?? lol
I am at work now, so I will talk to you guys later.
