WHERE has my "butt" gone and HOW do I get it back???

First I apologize in advance IF this has already been asked and answered! :) 

I had the VSG surgery Aug 2011 I'm coming up on my 1 yr Surgiversary. I've been pretty happy with my weightloss for the most part. My issue is my BUTT!! LOL I used to have a nice firm HIGH butt and now ... it's like non existent and not firm and just NOT good!!!  I must admit ... I have NOT been the best in the exercise or protein department so I take responsibility in that aspect. 

Has anyone else had this issue? If yes PLEASE tell me I can bring it back to it's original glory if not better (without a brazillian butt lift)! Suggestions anyone??

I have seen underwear that has butt padding in it but if you are looking for a good exercise to help build your glutts, here is one!

 squats it is the best way to get it back. My husband has never had a butt and it very much into weight lifting he started doing squats and he now has one.
