when to start

I am wondering when I should start working out.. more than walking. I feel ok.. I am trying very hard to get my energy level back to "work mode" and I already am able to walk pretty much anywhere without problems. I have LOTS of different work out gear, and tools.. and I am just wondering if it is too early to start core work.. or anything more than stretching. I do Body rolling, which is more for body muscle work..

When did you have surgery? For the first 6 weeks after surgery, you have weight lifting restrictions. You shouldn't stress your core during that time either. I was back in the gym at 2 weeks out doing the stationary bike and I started the Couch-to-5k program at 1 month out but didn't feel up to things like Zumba or Pilates until 2 months because they worked the core.
